BNI Canada is Looking for Launch Directors

Reporting to the Managing Director, the Launch Director (LD) is responsible for prospecting and lead communication efforts for the growth of BNI Canada regions. The role of the Launch Director (LD) is critical to the growth and success of the BNI Region. The LD is actively engaged in recruiting, sales & marketing, mentoring, and goal setting with potential Members of BNI. The LD is the primary resource for the applicants of a newly forming chapter.

Roles & Responsibilities:

Identify New Chapter Opportunities

  1. Collaborate with the Managing Director to identify geographical areas, venues, and potential applicants to target for future BNI Chapters.
  2. Work with interested applicants and their prospects to provide an overview of the Launch Process and determine interest.
  3. Market Interest Meetings on a regular basis to create a pipeline of interested applicants and engage in the sales process to develop group(s) to form new BNI Chapters.
  4. Consistently attend networking events outside of BNI to identify and acquire qualified prospects.

Utilize approved Charter Process and Provide Ongoing Support to Applicants

  1. Learn and follow approved Chapter Launch Process by completing Launch Training on BNI Business Builder prior to meeting with potential applicants. Attending in-person and Zoom Launch Training opportunities as provided.
  2. Review weekly progress of Interest/Core Group. Coach and encourage the groups through formal and informal meetings to meet charter goals and timeline.
  3. Achieve Key Milestones as outlined in Chapter Launch Program.
  4. Foster a positive relationship between Forming Chapters and the Regional Support Team for smooth transition prior to Phase 3.
  5. Participate in Weekly Success Calls with Managing Director to report status, successes, and challenges. The purpose of these calls is to work together to solve issues and remove roadblocks for the successful launch of new Chapters in the region.
  6. Coach and inspire approved applicants to success in the areas of inviting and bringing visitors, adhering to the Attendance protocol for Forming Chapters, and following the BNI Code of Ethics.
  7. Fairly and consistently enforce the Forming Chapter Expectations with each applicant.

Minimum Requirements:

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
  • Exerting up to 15 pounds of force occasionally and/or negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects. Repetitive motion. Substantial movements (motions) of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers

BNI Is Looking for Support Director Consultants

We are looking for Director Consultants with coaching and growth mindset to lead communication efforts and provide support for Managing Directors and Members within BNI regions. Reporting to the Managing Director, a Director Consultant should be professional, polite, attentive and detail oriented. They should always be prepared and responsive, willing to meet each challenge directly, comfortable with having difficult conversations, and excel at coaching others. Most importantly, the successful candidate should have a genuine desire to meet the needs of others.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Actively networking in the community to identify, qualify and interview potential prospects for the chapters you support,
  • Conducting weekly Strategy phone calls with chapter Leadership team
  • Every other month, provide a training workshop to chapters you support to help increase their profitability.
  • Using the BNI System to build VCP with members of chapters you support,
  • Communicating with Chapter membership,
  • Documenting communication with the chapters to help identify potential areas of improvement.
  • Promote the BNI System and the region in a professional manner,
  • Contribute to the success and attend all regional events including the annual Gala, Regional Networking Events, National Conference, etc.,
  • Attend Monthly Team Meetings,
  • Attend Weekly Performance Management meetings with Managing Director,
  • Attend a BNI Director Consultant training as provided by the BNI Canada,
  • Ensure chapters are living the BNI Core Values and implementing the system, including running chapter meeting with approved agenda and hosting Chapter Success Meetings,
  • Support activities for achievement of the BNI Canada Wildly Important Goal (WIG), and
  • Support other members of the regional team as needed.

  • Basic math and computer skills
  • Ability to work independently and reliably
  • Flexible and adaptable
